Things to check are the overall dimensions of the calliper, particularly the distance between the fixing holes which should be measured centre of eye to centre of eye. There are generally two types of brake callipers, cable and hydraulic. This calliper is a hydraulic type. When a calliper stops working you may see brake fluid leaking from the seals or the mechanism will not appear to grip the brake disc. Seal kits are not available for Chinese callipers so you will need to change the calliper.
